A genealogy-inspired family cookbook for the next generation... because feeding yourself is only half the story.

What started as a keepsake for a daughter leaving home turned into a rich tapestry of recipes, family history, and the kind of real-life stories that only come from Sunday dinner with people who love you (and tell it like it is).

Our Family Lore Cookbook is more than a collection of simple, down-home meals. It’s a celebration of generations who laughed, cried, and prayed around the table—and a guide for the next ones learning to cook and carry that legacy forward.

Inside you'll find:

  • Family recipes rooted in tradition and flavor
  • Genealogy notes and memory-keepers
  • Hilarious (and humbling) kitchen stories
  • Tips for new cooks just starting out
  • The power of gathering, forgiving, and passing the plate

Whether you're a recent grad, a homesick college student, or a mom handing down your own heritage, this cookbook is a reminder that food brings us home.

These are our recipes. Our roots. Our real life. From our family table to yours.

This volume contains the full contents of both Our Family Legacy (genealogy) and Our Southern Cookbook (recipes). If you want every family tree, every story, and every recipe in one book, this is the edition to choose.

Our Family Legacy is the complete genealogy and family history edition of the Powell–Isham–Prindle–Wagner families.

Unlike the cookbook version, this stand-alone volume contains all genealogy, stories, photos, timelines, and historical notes—with no recipe pages.

Perfect for family keepsakes, reunions, and lineage preservation, this book includes:

  • Detailed family trees and lineage charts
  • Historical context and migration summaries
  • Personal stories, interviews, memories, and traditions
  • Notes, records, and archival research
  • Photographs and written reflections

Created after years of research, interviews, document analysis, and historical study, this volume provides a detailed look at our ancestral origins, migrations, hardships, and family traditions.

It’s designed to help our children and grandchildren understand where they come from and carry these stories forward wherever they may roam.

This is a legacy preserved: a record of the people whose lives shaped our own. And perhaps a guide book to how to leave our own mark on the world for future generations.

Simple, comforting, beginner-friendly Southern recipes you’ll actually use.

This cookbook is designed for brand-new cooks, newlyweds, college students, and anyone wanting reliable, delicious meals without complicated steps.

From skillet breakfasts to hearty casseroles and Sunday-worthy desserts, this collection brings together easy, classic Southern recipes made for new cooks, busy families, and anyone craving real home-cooked flavor.

With clear instructions and no-fuss ingredients, you’ll learn how to make the meals Southerners love most — without the stress.

These are all the well-loved recipes from the Roots and Recipes: Our Family Lore Cookbook, but without all the family history.

This isn’t just a cookbook—it’s a place to capture a legacy.

Designed as a hybrid cookbook and fill-in-your-own family journal, this book provides classic recipes along with generous pages for your own additions. Preserve your family’s favorite meals, record stories and memories, and keep track of the people who made your table feel like home.

Includes:

  • Essential, easy-to-follow recipes
  • Blank recipe pages to record your own dishes
  • Genealogy prompts and family-tree worksheets
  • Spaces for photographs, stories, and heirloom traditions

Whether you’re starting a new family legacy or preserving one that’s been passed through generations, this book becomes more meaningful every time you write in it.

Create a one-of-a-kind treasure to pass down for generations. Every family has a story. This is where you write yours.

When my daughter was 5, she experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury which completely changed our lives. This book is a result of my need to write to process all we went through. Finally released in 2017, it is a devotional that chronicles our journey through essential oils, healing science, the Bible, and prayer. It's workbook style, each day's devotional only taking about 10 minutes. Give it a try today.

When surgery sent me onto bedrest in the beginning of 2021, I knew I would go stir-crazy if I didn't write. So I dove back into researching the Bible, and thus, The Oily Devo 2 was born. It continues the story of our family's journey while sharing how understanding the trees of the Bible can deepen our relationship with God. Check it out.

After writing the second devotional in 2021 while on bedrest, I wrote the first book in this series, The Soldier Gets His Girl. Published both books in May of 2021, and that was the start of my publishing addiction. I mean, my new business as an author! 😆 That eventually led to self-publishing a dozen books and the official establishment of Luv Haus Press, LLC. While the Crimson Creek series has since partnered with a hybrid publisher Vinci, the experiences learned through writing to release have served me well. Hopefully I'll be able to help more authors see their stories turned into a reality too.

Book 1, The Solider Gets His Girl has released in Walmart and on audio as of March 24, 2026!

When your hubby is a DnD guru who reads only fantasy and you start to play Pathfinder for family game night weekly, you naturally develop a world rich with magic, lore, and a massive problem the heroes need to solve. Seriously, without him, this trilogy wouldn't exist. I needed a brain break from the routine of small town life in the above Crimson Creek series, and thus the Royal Oath trilogy was born. With familiar-ish fairy tales, you're sure to fall in love with the characters and their world. Hopefully, you'll stick around to see that pesky problem of a god of hell trying to break free from his prison solved.
