This is generally the last type of editing before sending to beta / arc readers or publishing. Inconsistencies, errors like the wrong name or word, fact-checking, final look before you put that book baby into the world? If you hire no one else to do anything, hire a proofreader.

Copy Editing
Do you have a rough draft but the thought of editing paralyzes you? I can help! This type of editing focuses on spelling, grammar, punctuation, and style choices. One big one is tense and POV switching.
Price: $.005 / word
Developmental Editing
Does something not quite feel right but you can't put your finger on it? Character development, plot, structure, POV not working? You might need a developmental editor. This centers on big-picture issues and the manuscript as a whole. This is usually done before a manuscript is finished. Perhaps you've gotten a few hundred or thousand words down, but aren't sure where to go next? Let's chat, and I'll see if I can help.
Price: $100 per hour if meeting by zoom

Do you want to start your story but don't know how? In this one hour coaching call, we will brainstorm an outline, discover your why, and make a plan to tell your story.

Do you want your book published on Amazon in print and/or ebook--but have no idea how to do it? Do you just not want to mess with learning how to publish on Amazon? Prefer someone to just do it for you? We can help! However, we do NOT distribute royalties or sales back to you. We also do not offer any marketing services.
